Sirius Black ploughed his way through the crowd at Kings-cross station looking for his best friends James Potter and Remus Lupin.  It was their seventh and last year at Hogwarts.  James and Remus were saying goodbye to their parents when Sirius greeted them with a "How're you doing buddies?"

James replied, "I'm fine" but Remus just kept glancing at his left arm nervously.  "He's worried that someone would find out his secret" James explained.

"You mean the secret that he's a werewolf-" but James quickly cut him off and said,

"Sirius!  With a bigmouth friend like you talking about that in a public train station Remus should be afraid!"

"Alright, Alright!" Sirius muttered and they boarded the train.  As Sirius was saying goodbye to his mother and father he suddenly said, "James. Remus. Look out there" he said pointing to a boy outside the train.  "He looks as if he could do with a few pranks," Sirius continued still pointing.

"Sirius!" his mother said. "It's rude to point!"

"Well I'll expect that the teachers will be doing enough of it to me when they tell me I've got detention" Sirius replied.

"Sirius!" his mother said again but Sirius cut in,

"You're right, they'll be to busy writing up my detention forms" joked Sirius.

"Sirius!" his mother said yet again although this time angrily.

"Alright. Bye mom! Bye dad!" Sirius said and the train started to chug away.

Sirius and his gang (James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew who had just joined them) were planning a few pranks to pull on the boy whose name was Severus Snape when Lily walked in. She was James' girlfriend and sat down next to him.  "Hey! I've got a good idea!" exclaimed Sirius. "You know how much Severus likes Lily! How about we write him a note saying 'meet me behind the Whomping Willow at sunset' and sign Lily's name.  Then, when Snape goes there Lily or one of us curse him and then put a memory charm on him!"

This caused two different reactions. Remus and Peter burst out laughing and agreed while Lily and James said, "Sirius!"

"Do you know, counting both of your -Sirius'- that people have said that to me six times!" said Sirius shaking his head in disbelief.

James replied, "Yes, I've been counting."

Then Lily said, "actually, that's a good plan. Can I be the one to curse Snape?"

"Sure" said Remus.

They train ride continued for awhile without anymore fighting (unless you count the four more calls of "Sirius!") when Minerva McGonagall walked in.  As she walked in Sirius and his friends were talking about how to annoy Filch but suddenly Sirius went silent and bright pink.  Minerva's bible was the long scroll of Hogwarts rules and the five friends followed Sirius' lead, falling silent.  They had reached an unspoken agreement that they wouldn't tell Minerva of their mischievous plans.  As to the reason why Sirius went pink… well the simple reason was that they were boyfriend and girlfriend and almost as close as Lily and James (which was saying something.)  It was amazing but they were a match and shared many good times.  Their compartment was getting quite full but Minerva managed to squeeze in next to Sirius and they hugged a hello hug.

"So, what have you been up to?" Minerva asked.  "I suppose you're planning to pull a prank on someone again.  Come on, you can tell me.  I won't betray you" she said.

"Yes you will" said Sirius laughing.

"Ha ha ha, very funny." Minerva said giving Sirius a kiss on the cheek.

Sirius blushed again and thought, "Hmmm, I think Minerva has changed over the summer. She doesn't seem as uptight as she did last year."

"Do you reckon we should tell her?" Sirius asked James, Remus, Lily, and Peter jokingly.

Instead of any of them answering, Minerva said, "Do you reckon you'd like a bloody lip?" sarcastically.

"Minerva! That's against rule 2,954 of Hogwarts rules! Oh wait, it's rule 2,946" Sirius said, mocking their transfiguration teacher, Professor Swappintine.

"You know...if you don't tell me I may just look at the rules and I'm sure there is one against mocking teachers..."

"Ok, we'll tell you but you can't get us in trouble."

"Don't worry Sirius, I would never get you in trouble...although the rest of them I'm not sure about," Minerva joked but seeing their faces said, "I'm just kidding!" Sirius explained the Lily/Severus Snape and what do you know, she approved.
